Frommer's Review
The Bay Hotel's shopping mall architecture is a bad reminder of the 1980s, but if you're a beach lover, the location opposite Camps Bay's palm-lined beachfront more than makes up for it. Sea-facing rooms are pricey, but because this is the hotel's raison d'être, you should probably shell out or consider one of the cheaper alternatives (like the more elegant Atlantic House, higher up the hill, or Les Cascades in Bantry Bay, or the penthouse suite in 11 Sedgemoor). Service is good (it is, after all, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World) though not in the same class as Ellerman House . This is basically the choice for those who want to be in the hub of Camps Bay's restaurants and bars, within walking distance of the beach, and prefer the anonymity and facilities of a large hotel.
Facilities:
Restaurant; 2 bars; heated pool; fitness room; concierge; salon; room service; massage; laundry
