Les Cascades de Bantry Bay

High on Bantry Bay's mercifully wind-free cliffs, this beautifully appointed boutique villa exudes class and comfort. It's an excellent value, considering the privileged position and attentive service. Spacious rooms and ultraexpansive suites are finished in warm, modern earth tones -- with a distinctly Balinese influence -- that contrast with the blue sky and sea views. Connected to the original guesthouse is the newer Cascades on 52, a similarly sumptuous property with two enormous suites and a mix of rooms -- the two without private balconies are excellent value. Public spaces seamlessly flow onto decks with pools; snag your couch on the main terrace early, and order a bottle of bubbly at sunset. Hosts Luc and Els are always on hand to assist, and their eye for the finer things in life means that everything from the choice of wine in your minibar to the selection of cold meats at breakfast is perfect. All but standard rooms have espresso machines. Suites have computers with printer and fax; the two-bedroom suite has a private pool.
