Frommer's Review
One of Australia's most luxurious properties, this low-rise Sheraton has 2 hectares (5 acres) of saltwater pools and a championship Peter Thomson-designed 18-hole golf course. It is a bit too far from Port's main street by foot, but a free shuttle runs from 9am to 6pm to the golf course's country club and health center, to Marina Mirage shopping center, and into town. All the rooms are large and light-filled, and the resort has undergone extensive refurbishment in the past year, with new color schemes, furniture, and artwork, and extras like ministereo systems. All rooms have minibars, PlayStations, and Internet access. You might upgrade to a Mirage room with a Jacuzzi and king-size beds, but I thought the standard rooms just fine. The Sheraton handles rental of the 101 privately owned two-, three-, and four-bedroom luxury villas with golf course, garden, or sea views; the decor varies, but each has a kitchenette, a Jacuzzi, and two bathrooms.
