Frommer's Review
This luxurious hotel offers positively splendid accommodations and top-notch service. Built in the 19th century as a sanatorium (the name qui si sana means "here we heal"), it quickly changed into a hotel catering to those in need of pampering. Guest rooms are large and bright, opening onto wide arcades with superb views, and decorated with stylish period furniture. The large bathrooms are outfitted in marble or with designer tiles. Even if you don't stay here, come for an after-dinner drink at one of the elegant bars on the premises. We recommend both of the hotel's restaurants, the elegant Quisi, perfect for a gourmet candlelight dinner (closed Sun) and the more casual La Colombaia, by the outdoor pool.
