Frommer's Review
Making up an area popularly known as the Plaza de los Museos, these side-by-side and loosely connected institutions house a broad collection of Venezuelan art, ranging from the fine arts and modern masters to folk art and crafts, dating from the colonial period to the present. One of the nicer features here is the shady sculpture garden, which borders Parque Los Caobos. The Bellas Artes gift shop has a small, but worthwhile, selection of mostly high-end artworks and indigenous crafts.
