Frommer's Review
Long the city's hotel and meeting place of choice, the Hilton has lost ground to the newer luxury options in town. Although the rooms are all comfortable enough, they can't compare to those at the other high-end entries listed. Aside from the excellent views that most rooms feature, the best thing going for the Hilton is its proximity to several worthwhile museums, as well as the Teresa Carreño Theater complex. This is also the closest downtown hotel to the airport, so if you're looking for a quick overnight stay as part of a longer itinerary, this is a good choice. The Hilton is extremely popular with business and conference travelers, and it has all the facilities to accommodate them, and it's still the most common choice for visiting dignitaries and heads of state.
