This long-time favorite is probably your best budget choice in Caracas, if you want a relatively safe and tidy room at a reasonable rate. The rooms are well kept and comfortable and come with air-conditioning, cable television, and small refrigerators. Most aren't particularly large, but some have small private balconies. The Savoy is just a block off the main pedestrian mall of Sabana Grande, close to a score of restaurants, and about 4 blocks from the nearest Metro stop. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Be careful in this neighborhood after dark.
