Hotel Olé Caribe

A comfortable and well-maintained hotel, the Olé Caribe was my top choice in this area, until the Marriott opened. The rooms are all clean, bright, and well maintained, and feature a handful of amenities to be expected in this class. Most of the rooms have ocean views; those that don't face the coastal mountains behind the hotel. The Olé Caribe is a bit inland from the sea and there are no worthwhile beaches close by; however, the pool area and surrounding landscaped grounds are tropical and inviting. Located 15 minutes from the airport, this is a popular choice of local and international tour operators who are increasingly having their guests bypass Caracas altogether.
