Frommer's Review
Built in 1898 as a home for a wealthy sea captain and his family, this house retains many of its original features and is one of the better and more reasonably priced B&Bs. Richard Burton once attended elocution lessons in the public lounge back when the hotel was a private school. Bedrooms are small but comfortably and tastefully furnished and have shower-only bathrooms. A few have four-posters. The on-site restaurant only occasionally serves lunch and dinner.
