Carmel Village Inn ReviewEfficiently run and centrally located, the Village Inn is basically a well-kept old-school motor lodge. The rooms are always spotless, arranged around a courtyard and parking lot lined with potted geraniums, and outfitted with that ubiquitous flowery decor. The Deluxe Kings with gas fireplaces offer plenty of elbow room for the price. Continental breakfast, accompanied by the morning newspaper, is served in the downstairs lounge.
