From the outside, Terrazzo appears no more than an Italian take-away, but inside you'll find a modern, classy restaurant serving very good authentic cuisine. There's a good choice of salads -- I like the simple tomato and mozzarella in basil and olive oil -- and wood-fired pizzas topped with true mozzarella. Pasta dishes include your choice of sauce with fettuccine, spaghetti, penne, or lasagna, and there are also a few meat dishes such as scaloppine al limone and beef stroganoff. Perhaps the most difficult choice is deciding between the chocolate profiteroles or an Irish coffee for dessert. It's a popular venue for business lunches, as well as travelers staying in the numerous hotels close by.
