Opened in early 2007, this is one of the newest high-end hotels in the city and is a local alternative to the better-known international chain hotels nearby. Set out over 10 floors, the rooms are well designed and feature contemporary furnishings in colors of ochre or pastel green. Large enough to also include a coffee table and chairs, rooms come with all the modern conveniences including PC modem access points and Wi-Fi. Five suites are slightly larger than the rooms, and come with a private balcony and Jacuzzi. The contemporary design filters down into the two restaurants -- one serving Moroccan fare and the other international -- and reception area, while an in-house beauty center includes a hammam, sauna, and masseuse. Located near most of the city's expensive hotels, Oum Palace is also very close to most of its quality restaurants.
