This Art Deco, family-run hotel is a traveler's favorite and beats all others hands down for friendly and helpful staff. Most of the rooms have been recently refurbished -- now with brightly colored walls and newly tiled and fitted bathrooms. Ask friendly English-speaking owner/manager Mustapha Bouamara to see a few rooms when checking in, as the bathrooms in some are prohibitively compact and yet to be refurbished. Special touches such as free Wi-Fi and staff that are happy to assist with any query or difficulty are what make Guynemer different. Their licensed Moroccan restaurant (now air-conditioned) can get lively with tour groups, and has live oud music nightly; otherwise you're only a short walk to the city's better restaurants. You'll need to book your stay ahead of time, and you can also request an airport pickup (300dh).
