This good-natured restaurant is the domain of longtime Chamonix resident Valerio Comazetto, whose customers have followed him from restaurant to restaurant for 2 decades. You may enjoy a drink at the cozy bar, filled with Chianti bottles and Alpine souvenirs, before proceeding upstairs to the dining room, where red-and-white-checked tablecloths set the trattoria mood. You'll find the best pizzas in the region, many redolent of Mediterranean herbs. The restaurant serves up to 25 kinds of fresh-made pasta, including succulent versions with salmon and thin-sliced jambon de Parme. More substantial dishes include grilled calamari and mussels in white-wine sauce.
