City lodging is spartan. River Guest House (3/5-8 Si Chan Rd.; tel. 03932-8211) is not quite downtown but offers basic and homely rooms (starting at 350B/US$10/£5), with quieter (fan only) rooms out back. K. P. Grand (35/200-201 Trirat Rd.; tel. 03932-3201) is a smarter, modern facility in town. Its comfortable rooms start at 1,200B (US$34/£18).
