Frommer's Review
With a name like Fish, you know what to expect. Restaurant owners Charles and Celeste Patrick spearheaded the revitalization of North King Street when they restored and opened a restaurant in this 1830s former private home. Now visitors are flocking to an area once viewed as unsafe to enjoy some of the freshest and best seafood in the Low Country. The menu is seasonally adjusted. We recently dined on such starters as scallop ceviche and seared foie gras with gerkins and champagne grapes. For a main course, perhaps "naked fish" is best. It's the fresh catch of the day and is prepared simply to bring out its natural flavor. Shrimp and grits prepared with chorizo cream, peppers, and onion is a winning combination -- as is the seared halibut in a cucumber yogurt sauce. An array of "sides," or fresh vegetables, is among the city's best and freshest.
