Supplied by a local art dealer, the paintings on the walls of this sophisticated wine bar are for sale. So are glasses of wine from a very good international list, including a few of the best Virginia vintages. Wines opened the day before and properly stored overnight are discounted 30% off the regular price (50% off on Sun). Most of the menu consists of salads, sandwiches, and other light fare designed to accompany your wine tasting. A few main courses include pizza on focaccia, German bratwurst served with red cabbage, and pan-seared tuna over seaweed salad. The tables out on the Downtown Mall are pet friendly, and 5% of your bill is donated to the local Humane Society.
