Frommer's Review
This has continually been one of the most popular dars in Chefchaouen, and subsequently there's always a happy, busy atmosphere. The rooms are spread out over the ground and first floor, and though most are fairly compact, they have been thoughtfully furnished and make the most of their space. Each has its own individual character -- earthy tadelakt walls and Berber rugs; Chefchaouni blue and hand-painted four-poster beds; split-level with beds on top and a lounge down below; and some with a fireplace and small lounge. The roof terrace has some covered seating but also plenty of warm, sunny spots with great views. There are lots of lanterns, and little moons and stars have been carved out of the walls to add a magical touch. The well-known restaurant occupies part of the ground floor.
