Owner Saïd Bennasser has given his popular pension a new lick of blue and yellow paint and refurbished a couple of the rooms. A range of room configurations are available, giving options for solo travelers and couples, as well as small groups of friends. The refurbished doubles now offer either air-conditioning or a TV, but what matters more is the new hot-water system; stay here in winter and this will mean more than any other luxury. Locally made bed coverings add a nice rustic touch to each room. Barcelone's rooftop terrace has a brilliant view of both the kasbah and the hills behind the village, and is the perfect spot to meet up with fellow travelers and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Note: Nine rooms share only one bathroom.
