Frommer's Review
A curving, tree-lined driveway leads to this Greek Revival plantation house, a mile southwest of town. Built in 1860 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it sits on 35 acres of hills and farmland. Guests enjoy the use of two sitting rooms, a wide front porch, and extensive spruce-shaded grounds with lawn furniture. Seven rooms are furnished with authentic period antiques; nine units have fireplaces and five have whirlpool tubs. Three cottages offer space and privacy.
