Lord & Taylor, one of two large department stores in Water Tower Place, carries about what you'd expect: women's, men's, and children's clothing and accessories. Overall, Lord & Taylor is a more affordable alternative to stores such as Bloomingdale's and Sak's Fifth Avenue, with styles geared to women a few sizes larger than waifish fashion models. The shoe department is worth checking out for its good selection and sales.
