All the accommodations at Tommy and Donna Mason's three-story motel feature private wooden balconies overlooking Chincoteague Channel, guaranteeing some breathtaking sunset views, especially on the end units directly facing the water (they're worth requesting). Shingle-look siding gives the property a Victorian appearance. The spacious units are decorated in comfortable contemporary style, and some have a king- or queen-size bed and a pullout sofa bed. Four suites in a nearby Victorian house have two bedrooms and kitchens. The Waterside has an outdoor pool with deck and its own fishing and crabbing pier.
