Just a few minutes from Kasane International Airport, Chobe National Park's 35km (22 miles) of river frontage is conveniently close to the Zimbabwe and Zambia borders, making Victoria Falls day trips possible. As a result, it's a tourist-heavy area, and with the exception of the superb Chobe Chilwero and Orient-Express's swish Savute Elephant Camp, we recommend that you opt for one of the lodges situated on private reserves in and around the greater Chobe region; access is typically by charter plane (from either Kasane or Maun), which can be arranged when booking your accommodations.
