The venue is a meticulously restored guildhall dating from the 1470s, artfully positioned behind a bubbling fountain on one of the Old Town's most evocative squares. Graced with frescoes and blue-painted shutters on its facade, and staffed inside by a crew of great warmth and humor, it offers clean, well-maintained, and not particularly ostentatious bedrooms, each with simple but well-planned comforts.
