This place, deep in a shady grove of old trees, defines serenity, tucked into a hillside with nothing to see but miles of green pastures. The house (built ca. 1875) has aged well, and bears the marks of time on its ivy-covered facade and the antiques that populate the spacious rooms. This is a good place for families -- each room has a double bed and a twin bed, and the extensive grounds have many places to explore. There's good fishing for free at Knockerra Lake, a 10-minute walk from the house.
