Sure, Gus O'Connor's is more famous than this place, but it is also jammed with tourists. On many nights, there are no locals in Gus's at all -- they're just up the road, downing pints of Guinness and listening to just-as-wonderful traditional music at this friendly pub. Feel free to join them.
