Frommer's Review
This well-maintained and well-organized zoo is a great place to spend half a day, especially if you're traveling with kids. The must-see is the $30-million multilevel RainForest, which offers gentle thunderstorms inside its simulated biosphere, along with more than 600 animals and insects from all seven continents. Elsewhere, in the Wolf Wilderness area, you will encounter gray wolves, beavers, and bald eagles. Meanwhile, the 8-acre interactive kids section of the zoo has an Australian theme.
