Close to University Circle's museums is this Little Italy bar and restaurant, which serves up excellent pizzas made from scratch with fresh ingredients, including whole-clove garlic and mushrooms. Other Italian dishes, along with burgers, steaks, and seafood, round out the menu. Service is as friendly as can be. Down the street is Mama Santa, 12305 Mayfield Rd. (tel. 216/231-9567), another inexpensive, family-friendly favorite that bakes a top-notch pie.
