Planning a Trip

Getting There -- Collioure has frequent train and bus service, especially from Perpignan (trip time: 20 min.). Sixteen trains a day make the trip, costing a mere 4.90€. For train information and schedules, call tel. 36-35, or visit www.voyages-sncf.com. Bus service takes a bit longer, and costs more. Many visitors drive along the coastal road (RN114) leading to the Spanish border.

Visitor Information -- The Office de Tourisme is on place du 18-Juin (tel. 04-68-82-15-47; fax 04-68-82-46-29; www.collioure.com).

Special Events -- The annual Salon des Antiquaires takes place on a 3-day weekend around November 1. Antiques dealers from throughout southern France set up shop for wholesalers and retailers. For more information, contact the tourist office.
