This is one of Cologne's most chic designer boutique hotels, a favorite of painters, art gallery owners, and other artists. The artfully designed and glamorously contemporary bedrooms have huge, beautifully maintained bathrooms with shower and luxurious tub. Original pieces of art fill this well-designed hotel. If you'd like more space and don't mind spending extra euros, you can opt for one of the junior suites or apartments. The on-site restaurant and cafe is a sophisticated rendezvous point and features a finely honed blend of art and food. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the center of town.
