Frommer's Review
At this rough-and-ready fish shack, seafood rules, most of it fried. And while it is sure to elevate triglyceride counts, the nutty coating on superfresh clams, oysters, shrimp, and calamari is hard to resist. Chowders and seafood rolls are the way to go. In this branch, you give your order at the counter and carry it to a table. Bonus: There's a small old-time carousel and an ice cream stand here, too. A nearby outlet in Westbrook, at 86 Boston Post Rd. (tel. 860/669-0767), has table service and a bar, and less of a fast-food feel.
