This comfortable inn began life as a private home with bedrooms on either end of a great, two-story central hall, which opened to a veranda overlooking a swimming pool and the lagoon. The beach is across a dead-end road known as Sunset Strip, which was the main drag before the Queen's Road was diverted around the new Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji, a short walk from here. Today a square bar, lounge furniture, and potted palms occupy the great hall, and a romantic restaurant has taken over the veranda. Upstairs, another veranda wraps around the house. Inside, guests can opt for two-bedroom budget suites capable of sleeping up to four persons, or standard hotel-style rooms, all with air-conditioners and each equipped with a king, queen, or twin-size bed. Out back, a two-room bure can accommodate four persons. To the side of the house, a two-story motel block holds 16 air-conditioned rooms, all with locally made furniture and large bathrooms with walk-in showers.
