Frommer's Review
A sister of The Warwick Fiji , this recently expanded resort attracts mainly Australians and New Zealanders lured by its extensive activities and optional all-inclusive rates. The resort sits on 40 acres of coconut palms waving in the trade wind beside a lovely beach and dredged lagoon (you can wade to two islets). Or you can lounge beside two swimming pools, one with a shaded swim-up bar. Double-deck covered walkways lead from the central complex to two- and three-story concrete block buildings, two of them constructed in 2005. The older wings hold some of Fiji's largest hotel rooms (baths have both tubs and walk-in showers). The two-room suites on the ends of the older buildings are especially spacious. The best units here, however, are 16 beachside bungalows, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. Fijian-shaped shingle roofs cover a coffee shop, a candlelit restaurant for fine dining, and a large lounge where a band plays for dancing most evenings. A fine Chinese restaurant looks out on an unchallenging 9-hole golf course.
