Mango Bay Resort

This beachside resort is the most popular on the Coral Coast among 25- to 35-year-olds, although its small bungalows and African safari-style tents appeal to travelers of any age who don't mind a lot of bustle or a poolside bar that can rock past midnight. Fortunately it's all spread out over several acres of lawn and palm trees, so the noise shouldn't seriously interfere with sleeping. Mango Bay is an eco-friendly place, so none of the natural thatched-roof units or dorms have air-conditioners. They do have ceiling fans, and both the bures and tents have their own bathrooms (the bures have outdoor showers). The tents have wood floors, front porches, and both double and single beds. The more expensive dorm has double beds separated by dividers, while the other has over-and-under bunk beds. Only the tents are screened, but every bed here has its own mosquito net.
