One of the city's favorite hotels, this newer Holiday Inn is similar in quality but substantially less expensive than the Sheraton. Okay, there's definitely less marble, but the service is comparable. The hotel lies between the airport and downtown, next to a large shopping complex and near the posh neighborhood of Cerro de las Rosas. Standard rooms are colorful, bright, and airy, with slightly larger rooms on the executive floor. The gorgeous pool is complemented by a fitness center, sauna, and state-of-the-art massage facility. The helpful staff will arrange airport transfers, regional excursions, and sports activities upon request. You'll need to take a taxi or remise to the city center, about 10 minutes away. The hotel also functions as a convention center.
