Just outside the city center next to a fashionable shopping mall, this five-star Sheraton is widely considered Córdoba's best hotel. Elevators shoot up the center of the 16-floor atrium lobby, which is decorated with rose-colored marble, California palms, and paintings by national artists. The rooms are spacious, though not huge. They are well appointed with marble tables and desks, large bathtubs, and views of either the city or mountains. Service is first-rate, although the hotel gets crowded when its convention center is booked. The restaurant is fairly standard, offering a la carte or buffet dining. The breakfast buffet is spectacular with local and international fare. The piano bar is good evening fun. The Sheraton offers the most extensive list of amenities of any hotel in Córdoba. Be sure to check their website for Internet-only rates as low as $110 (£61) for a double room.
