Frommer's Review
Cork adores the effortlessly contemporary creations of sisters Eithne and Jacqueline Barry. Lately, the menu is highly influenced by Mediterranean and Asian ingredients, as seen in main dishes like roast swordfish with couscous and lemon, or the roast brace of quail served on Asian thread noodles. There are also classics like beef Bordelaise and their deservedly famous roast duck with potato and apricot stuffing, a menu staple for 2 decades. The small dining room, whose cheery lemon, tangerine, and green walls are lined with modern artwork, is the perfect backdrop for the buzzy, fresh atmosphere.
