Frommer's Review
This is a real insider's place, which everyone calls by its nickname, "the Hi-B." Located up a linoleum-covered flight of stairs (the entrance is beside the Minahan Chemist shop), it looks like a living room gone astray, with a mishmash of slightly threadbare upholstered armchairs and sofas strewn about at odd angles. The one-room bar is always crammed with a cross section of Cork -- blue-collar types, students, artists, writers, eccentrics, and the beautiful, well-heeled set.
