Frommer's Review
This upscale restaurant, run by a husband-wife team on Corning's historic Market Street, is tops for dining in this agreeable town and is popular with locals for a special night out. On its creative American menu, signature dishes include excellent salads, crispy Chesapeake crab and corn cakes, and honey-roasted, pecan-crusted pork tenderloin. Lots of Finger Lakes wines make the nice but manageable list. Gourmands will be interested in the Chef's Table, a specially prepared five- or seven-course dinner paired with wines (for groups of four to eight people only, at $60-$75 per person). One side of the high-ceilinged restaurant is a lively bar known for its excellent martinis, with a special bar menu (and free Mediterranean olive bar on Thurs evenings).
