Frommer's Review
Located on the shores of the Paraguay River, the lodge specializes in fishing trips; paçu, barbado, pintado, and more are abundant. Eco-tourists have the option of horseback riding, bird spotting, piranha fishing, and nighttime caiman-spotting trips. Accommodations are in smaller chalet buildings, with four apartments per building. These vary in quality. The most basic ones -- on the ground floor of the buildings -- are clean and comfortable, with firm single beds and functional bathrooms. The more luxurious upstairs rooms have a screened-in sitting area with TV and couches and chairs. Common lodge areas include a large outdoor pool and main building with restaurant and bar with nightly karaoke. All meals are included.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; large outdoor pool; soccer pitch; game room; laundry

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
