Housed in a renovated warehouse-like space across the street from the Willamette River, this big, lively place serves everything from designer brick-oven pizzas to Asian-inspired pastas to Cuban pork loin to various smoked chicken dishes. The owners of the restaurant have a commitment to fresh local produce (often organic), local wines, Oregon-caught seafood (when possible), and organic meats. Though Big River is a big place, you probably won't be able to miss the case full of tempting desserts. Be forewarned that this restaurant is very noisy.
