This fine lodge opened in 2006 and is just a few kilometers outside of town on the road to the airport. It's close enough for quick drives into the city, but far enough away that you'll still soak in dramatic views and feel the vastness that is Patagonia. The six spacious contemporary cabins with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Río Simpson are the best rooms in town. Their gourmet restaurant is worth a visit in its own right. Fly-fishing is the focus of the lodge, and they have special arrangements with estancias as far south as the Río Baker to use their properties for excursions. They also have a small fly-fishing lodge on the Argentine border, Estancia El Zorro.
