Planning a Trip

Getting There -- Route 302 runs through Crawford Notch for approximately 25 miles between the towns of Bartlett and Twin Mountain. Pick up 302 from Portland, Maine (coming from Maine or Boston), I-93 (exit for Bethlehem) from the White Mountains, or I-91 (exit for Wells River, Vermont) from New York City.

Visitor Information -- The Twin Mountain-Bretton Woods Chamber of Commerce (tel. 800/245-8946; www.twinmountain.org) provides general information and lodging referrals from a booth near the intersection of U.S. Route 302 and U.S. Route 3. It's open from mid-May through the middle of October.
