These five independent apartments, hidden away up a flight of San Blas stairs, are some of the most unique accommodations in the city. The mini-compound, owned by an Italian man named Cristiano, is layered on top with three levels of terracing, surrounding a pleasant courtyard. Most of the units have two stories, and all include kitchens and wood-burning fireplaces, plus hand-carved wooden balconies and wrought-iron grills. Each has a theme based around a time period, from a pre-Inca perspective to a contemporary look at Peruvian pop culture. Eighty percent of the beautiful furnishings and carvings found in the apartments and around the complex were designed by local artisans. Breakfast is served in your room.
