Banks & Currency Exchange -- Vietcombank is at 6 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai St. (tel. 063/510-479; open daily 7:30-11am and 1:30-4:30pm). You can exchange traveler's checks here and you'll also find an ATM that accepts most cards. There's also an ATM just outside the Novotel at 12 Tran Phu St. and at the top of the hill near the central market stalls (just up the street from the Lyla Hotel and Restaurant).

Internet -- The most accessible Internet cafe in town is at the round about near the western side of the Lake: Post Shop, 2 Le Dai Hanh (tel. 063/827-207). Internet use is free with the purchase of coffee or tea.

Post Office -- The main office is located at 14 Tran Phu St., across from the Novotel, and it's open Monday to Saturday from 6:30am to 9:30pm.
