The walls and the ceiling of this cozy place are covered with local pine, giving it a rustic look. The menu, however, is a lot more sophisticated, and the venue is a lot more worldly, than its mountain veneer would have you believe. Within an undeniably cozy ambience that lies within a 5-minute walk downhill from the center of Davos-Dorf, you can enjoy such glamorous food as smoked carpaccio of venison with duck liver, South African shrimp in a vegetable-flavored vinaigrette, rack of veal stuffed with shrimp, and braised filets of turbot on a bed of truffled leeks.
