Two little states. A prospective visitor might think it would be easy to see either one in just a few days. But a leisurely pace is best for this "Land of Pleasant Living." How much time do you have? Civil War buffs will want to include a visit to Baltimore with trips to the battlefields around Frederick. Wine lovers might like to plan a weekend to see local wineries, enjoy the seafood, and experience a little culture. History fans should consider taking a walk on the path to freedom trod by slaves on the underground railroad. And outdoorsy types, you're in for a treat: Hiking, skiing, fly-fishing, and kayaking await.
