Frommer's Review
Tucked into the riverfront acreage of the West Branch Angler & Sportsman's Resort, this nice restaurant is a perfect place to unwind (and, if you're staying in one of the cabins, easy to get to) after a long day of -- what else? -- fishing. It's got the requisite, masculine lodge feel; and the tavern downstairs has a fancy, huge plasma TV behind the bar, so you can kick back with a beer and watch big-screen sports. The restaurant is the spot for fine dining. It features a number of nice pastas, including spinach ravioli, and shrimp and scallop carbonara, and entrees are pretty evenly divided between meat and fish, with a grilled burgundy filet, veal tenderloin, and grilled scarlet-red snapper among the well-prepared options. The tavern menu includes items like club sandwiches and big, juicy burgers.
