Oozing alternately bright and bold colors, classical motifs, and a hint of Western chic, the Hotel Monaco is the cool kid on the Denver hotel block. Part of a hotel-wide renovation that was completed in 2012, the rooms manage to blend labyrinthine patterns, faux cowskin blankets, and oversized headboards into an aesthetically satisfying whole. The corner suites have similar eclectic style and plenty of space to spread out—675 square feet, to be precise. Among the facilities, the resident restaurant, Panzano is a standout. And if you are in need of company, the staff will deliver you a goldfish—they make great listeners.
