Frommer's Review
This seafront, family-run hotel looks a bit like a Swiss chalet from the outside, but inside there's an open-air restaurant with bright jungle prints, crystal teardrop chandeliers, and an Art Deco bar. It lies 1.5 km (1 mile) south of Roseau. A more modern-looking annex, though sterile, has better rooms than the main building. A few units have wraparound tile-floored verandas; all have stone accents. Accommodations are bright and airy, with most rooms having two double beds and ample storage space; bathrooms have showers only. The nicest is the Honeymoon Hut, an exotic and charming retreat for either honeymooners or off-the-record weekenders. A stony beach is visible a few steps beyond the garden. Inside and out, the airy, comfortably modern place is trimmed with local gommier wood.
